Cropwell Bishop Stilton

There is some justification to Stilton’s reputation as the King of Cheese – it is gloriously rich and very recognisable. A wonderful cheese, not just for Christmas.

Characteristics: golden paste with fine ripples of veining; creamy with a nutty spicy blue flavour and a clean lasting tanginess.

Best with: can hold its own on any cheeseboard but particularly good with some port.
