This Bungay Brie shares its appearance with its famous French cousin, Brie de Meaux, but its taste is subtler.
Characteristics: A slightly-mottled white rind and pale yellow paste; creamy, buttery with a distinctive aroma and an earthy hint of mushroom.
Best with: Baron Bigod is very versatile – for a simple, flavour-packed starter or quick supper, try pushing slices of garlic and fresh herbs through its rind and baking it in its box for about 15 minutes.
